Place your pizza orders for June 6, 2016 – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be crashing into theaters again with a sequel produced by Michael Bay.

Paramount announced the sequel on Sunday, after the first film shell-shocked audiences with a massive $65 million opening in North America.

There is no word yet on how much of the cast will reprise their roles.

The sequel will arrive facing tough competition. June 6 will also see the release of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s raunchy R-rated animated Sausage Party. Even more threatening is that Turtles 2 will bow a week after Fox’s X-Men: Apocalypse. However, the first Turtles thrived in the wake of Guardians of the Galaxy’s tremendous box-office haul, so the studio is optimistic about the sequel’s chances.

It is not clear if Jonathan Liebsman will return to direct. But most of the original team will stay on board for the new release, including producers from Nickelodeon Movies and Platinum Dunes, plus screenwriters Josh Appelbaum & André Nemec (who originally wrote Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol).

Adam Goodman, President of Paramount’s Film Group, said in a statement:

“Launching a new take on the Turtles into the feature film world was a daunting task because as fans of them ourselves, we felt a great responsibility to ensure audiences were going to experience everything they loved about the Turtles, while also getting to see them brought to life in a way they had never been seen before. The result exceeded our high expectations and the response to the film is beyond great, making it all the more fun to get started on the continuation of their story.”
