Just a few days ago we showed you a photo of Henry Cavill as Clark Kent and now Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first photo of him as the Man of Steel in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
USA Today, which posted the photo also had an interview with director Zack Snyder in which he explains why the title of the film uses a 'v' between "Superman" and "Batman" instead of 'vs.'
"to keep it from being a straight 'versus' movie, even in the most subtle way."
He also talks about the idea of an older Batman:
"it's cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys."
Snyder says the new movie is thicker, denser and more epic than Man of Steel:
Man of Steel was all about Superman finding his place in the world as both a hero and as a man, ultimately saving the city of Metropolis from certain doom. Dawn of Justice continues to immerse him on Earth by working at the Daily Planet as Clark Kent along with Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Perry White (Laurence Fishburne). But it also takes him to new environments such as Gotham City and introduces larger threats, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg).
Check out the photo below and chime your way on the comments.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit theaters May 6, 2016.
