'Bond 24' Looking For Classic Henchman

– by Kellvin Chavez

The folks over at MI6 have alerted us that director Sam Mendes (Skyfall) is looking to cast an iconic henchman for the upcoming twenty-fourth Bond film.  The recent James Bond franchise starring Daniel Craig has actually been missing that element, someone like JAWS (played by Richard Kiel) who was in two Bond films "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Moonraker," which were actually two of my favorite Roger Moore Bond films.

JAWS in Moonraker

The idea is to find the next Jaws or Oddjob and according to the site casting has begun for the main assassin, and are specifically focused on someone extremely physically fit and over 6' 2".  The character also has a working name of “HINX” and here is the description:

Hinx (Male, 30 – 45)
Ideally over 6′ 2″. Hinx is the main henchman/assassin. We are looking for an imposing extremely physically fit actor. He has several fights with Bond and will have to have stunt training. He has to drive. We are looking for someone very unusual, possibly from a sports background.

The Untitled Bond 24 starts shooting in December and is set to hit theaters on November 2015.
