Many attendees at CinemaCon in Las Vegas got an early peek at the upcoming “Hercules” trailer and now the rest of the world can watch the same trailer.

Johnson opened Paramount Pictures’ presentation with an entrance of two beating drummers. Latino-Review was present at the event.

“Before we started shooting ‘Hercules,’ Paramount, MGM and I made a pact. We wanted to make a massive global and entertaining movie without really revealing the actual look,” said Johnson.

“The goal for me is to completely disappear. I had the hair, full beard and prosthetic penis,” he joked. “They insisted, but I didn’t need it.”

Several photos of Hercules were shown, but from a view behind him.

“We went all out to protect Hercules’ look to not be revealed,” he said. “I wanted to bring fans along with starting on social media. Here’s my training. Here’s my diet. Here’s my prep. Here’s what I look like.”

And he concluded, “So with every pic, I brought the world along Hercules journey without ever, ever showing…..my face.” And now with the trailer, the world gets to see his face.

The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Aksel Hennie and Reece Ritchie.

Based on the Radical Studios graphic novel “Hercules: The Thracian Wars,” the ensemble-action film is a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist.

Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend…

Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.

“Hercules” will be in theaters on July 25 this year.
