Remember when I told you guys that Marvel was looking into getting into business with Joseph Gordon Levitt and considering him for their Phase 3 film Doctor Strange?
Well, it looks like Marvel wants to get into business with Levitt much sooner than that.
According to Justin Kroll over at Variety, Marvel is looking at both Joseph Gordon Levitt and Paul Rudd for the lead role in Ant-Man. The Hollywood trade says they're both frontrunners for the role. Kroll also mentions there is a possibility of a 3rd contender not yet named. Kroll also goes on to say that the two actors are expected to meet with Marvel execs and director Edgar Wright one more time before a decision is made.
If I was a betting man, I bet Levitt bags the role. If he doesn't then don't be surprised if he becomes the top contender for Doctor Strange. I'm not really feeling Paul Rudd.
So much for that ridiculous Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) rumor. You would be scoopers need to develop actual sources and stop believing everything you read on the IMDB forums.
In the comics, Ant-Man's alter-ego was Henry Pym, a brilliant scientist who invented a substance that allowed him to change his size.
What do you guys think of the these two choices? Chime in below and keep it clean.
